About Us

Our Purpose

To economically meet the challenges faced by today's commercial steel framed envelope construction with a value engineered approach to comply with more efficient building energy code requirements (including air barrier) while meeting weathertight requirements.

Value Engineered Energy Code Compliance

Founded by an ICC Commercial Energy Plans Examiner VE has a deep understanding of WSEC, OEESC, & IECC requirements.

All energy codes offer much more flexibility in compliance than typically recognized. VE's expertise encompasses all the insulation options available with an understanding of the benefits and drawbacks to each. We take into account the buildings location, building use, owner preference, and installed costs to design an energy code compliant insulation package for each metal building or steel project.

Vertical Erection

Installation of Insulation and Covering. By installing what we design VE backs up our recommendations with affordable installation of insulation and metal siding providing start to finish sole source responsibility. Various levels of warranties available depending on products and services selected.

Verified Envelope

Air Barrier and thermal bridging. All products recommended meet air barrier compliance and address thermal bridging of steel framing. It is recommended that whole building pressure testing be performed in compliance with 2015 WSEC and best industry practices for all conditioned commercial buildings. This includes thermal imaging and the nominal cost is well worth the expense to verify installation of insulation and air barrier on all projects.

Valued Employees

VE recognizes that valuing people and treating them as partners that they are is the key to our success and future growth. We want everyone on the team to develop their skills so we all grow together.

Vision + Evolution

VE looks to a future of every increasing building envelope efficiency as a key component of achieving affordable Net Zero Energy Buildings (NZEB).
